Merka under Obama
Some years ago, Bob Dylan wrote this classic:
Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'.
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.
The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'.
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'.
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now

For the times they are a-changin'.
Come senators, congressmen

Youtube has it on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZUL6cPc26g&feature=related covered by The Byrds. Worth listening whilst reading this.
Our dear Cousins the Merkins with whom we have a “special relationship” which can best be described as “a kind of buggery” seem to be living up to their MTV generation label where you have at least 80 channels and just channel hop all night. However most times they have not applied this “glasshopper” mind to their Presidents.
Barack Hussein Obama created history two short years ago by becoming the first ?”Black”?? President of Merka seemed to be extremely hopeful that this guy could walk on water. OK, fashawa he had an A Rabic Name but at least he was an Afrikken Merkin and that counted.
The problem is that whilst a week might be a long time in politics, in Merka where the citizens have the attentions of bowl-living goldfish, two years is a complete lifetime and a half and so Barack has not apparently made the grade. In his own quaint Merkin words he “took a shellacking!”. For those of you who only understand “English English” (William Gates Noto Bene) you will, on reference to your English Dictionaries find that apparently on Polling Night poor Mr Obama was indeed coated with a few layers of thin varnish which seems a pretty barbaric thing to do to the president of your country but hey ho, what do us English know anyway? The administrators of this varnishing were apparently the Tea Party (?) shome mishtake surely? After all, the Merkins as we all know make tea by tipping it into cold salt water and when they first tried this we were so disgusted that we immediately exiled them to Merka and celebrate this exile every 4th July which we know as “Getting rid of ingrates Day” in the UK.
Getting back to the point, the Merkins seem to have overlooked that their beloved AfrikkenMerkin President has actually enacted more beneficial legislation in two years than most of their Presidents manage in two terms (8 Years for the dysnumerate) and by giving him a loaded deck Senate they are actually preventing the changes they said they wanted and indeed voted for two years ago.
Ah well, as long as they can still watch the “World Series” and other International Sporting events whilst washing down GargantuaMacs and Freedom Fries with CroakerCola then all is well in their world eh?
